I Believe A Guy And A Girl Can Be Just Friends

It is very hard to do though. Not because of the friends, because everyone around you always assume something. If you both are single, everyone wants you to go out with each other. If you are both not, then everyone thinks you are cheating together. And if one is single, then people think that you are desperately trying to go out with them. People can cause a lot of strain on a friendship because they always assume there is some love affair involved. Guys and girls can be JUST friends.

i completely understand that..n i seriously hate it when ppl are like.."so..u like him..ryt?" or.."are u dating??" when they see me wid a guy friend..they evn said so fr the guy i got a girl for..🙄

Yeah in middle school i used to talk to my best friend all the time (And she's a girl obviously lol) and people would like assume a lot of the Times that we liked each other or whatever...and we didn't we just talked a lot, plus she was like my only real friend. At the beginning when classmates/friends told me that i should go out with her and or say I liked her it was annoying, but over time I started to hear it frequently enough for me to get over it. Now if people attempt to taunt me about it I just laugh at their failed attempt to bait me "Hahaha...yup" 🙃

Agreed. That's exactly how people look at it these days. I think this is a clever way to reduce competition by creating judgement on ones part.
