Why did you surround yourself with people you deep down know will not offer you anything anyway? Is it just textbook?

I’ve met a couple of people who have absolutely given me new perspectives and conversations that have shown me things about myself that I probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. A lot of being here is unhealthy for sure but not all of it has been.
