Fantasy with a slice of horror: A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik.
Fantasy: The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker
Fantasy: The Will of the Many by James Islington
Mystery: The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman
Fantasy: The Witch King by Martha Wells
I very strongly recommend the Murderbot series by Martha Wells. It's technically science fiction involving robots, spaceships, etc. But if you substitute the word "hexed" for "hacked" you could consider it fantasy. It's one of my favorites in the last two years, so if you like other stuff on my list you might check it out. P.S. It's not really a murderbot as will become clear.
