Had I not gone for a run this morning, this is what I would have missed






Fighting diabetes is always a struggle. But today it was exhilarating.

I do not take tablets. Rely on a strict low gi diet and exercise.

Keep at it. It's much better for you and easier. I managed for about 10 years but succumbed to the metformin a while back and now am on the fullest strength. It keeps me active out of the worst effects of the disease. It was explained to me the diabetes is a progressive disease so I couldn't have done more to stop it: but I still wonder.

My A1C did not drop until I was put on Ozempic.

@JoyfulSilence I had that with metformin. It's really helpful to have these drugs.
