@Musicman You know what is interesting? When there is a gentle and constant southern breeze in the early springtime I can smell the Gulf air (from Texas). The same thing happened when I was a kid on the farm in northwestern Missouri. It was about mid to late April there when it happened every spring. Same smell. It got me excited to start gardening, which I loved from the time I was 2 years old.
