Do you have a morning ritual? What would be your ideal morning routine/ritual?

My ideal morning routine/ritual in a perfect world.

I’d get up at 6am and spend half hour to hour with my love, once the suns out, go downstairs make tea 🫖 and grab some fruit, either sit on the verandah with a book of poetry or in my room, read a few poems. Also read from a year with rumi[poet], or a year with hafiz[poet], or meditations for the turning year, read the daily entry for one of these. drink my tea. Get out my planner and write a to do list for the day, things I must do, and also write out a few morning journal prompts in my journal. Then finally go online to check things.

What would be your ideal morning routine/ritual?

I used to, before COVID, work from home and closed gyms. I would wake up early, have my breakfast and coffee, and head to the gym. I'd then do my cardio and weight work, and leave enough time for either the hot tub or sauna. I'd then shower, dress, and drive to work. I'd feel more awake during the day, and when I was done with work I could just relax.

I need to get back to that, but (1) the gym doesn't open as early as it used to, and (2) the hot tub has not reopened.
