Perhaps start doing what I did a few years back and think about the things you are grateful for. The more you consider these things, the more things you realize you are grateful for. Gratitude and depression are not compatible. One cannot follow the other.
Mabe just try this awhile and see what happens. A friend of mine on this site totally turned her life around following this advice.

@ASLAN I understand. There are of course, going to be bumps and ruts in the roads from time to time, life is like that. I'm sure you realize there are transient bouts of depression, a think we call life. Clinical depression is a whole other thing that may need some kind of intervention. Just don't allow some psych. pro try and tell you you're "Bi-polar"
Some clown tried to lay that label on me and it's absurd, seems to be the psychiatrist's "One size fits all" diagnosis.

@Grateful4you yes I do understand.. Yes like you said that's life.. There always going to bumps and ruts and we have to cope..
