I Think Good Friends Are Rare

I think you should respect people's anonymity online. If a person joind this site just to vent and have fun then she/he might not want to say their real first name, state, etc. It does not even matter if the person acts nice, you still have to be cautious and you still have a right to be anonymous.

Wonderful notion. If only our curiousities didnt take over!
We can be casual friends with needed to know too much at all. Just enjoying chatting with someone because they make us giggle or we share a common problem is great therepy. But if you begin to talk regularly its hard not to get curious about your 'friend.'
Obviously it depends on the nature of your friendship and what you want from it.
I have nothing against anonimity. I dont care for people age, creed or colour or where they live. But i do need a little honesty that in not talking with a kid (it happens) or a someone claiming to be a different gender.

@RubySoo I know but it's always a risk telling information about yourself because you never know the person you're dealing with

@SW-User of course. As i say....it depends on the depth of the friendship. Theres dozen her i interact with here i k ow nothing about other than their user name and age. We share giggles, songs, opinions.....and thats cool.
But the ones ive gotten to know better....weve usually gotten to a point where we do share names and where we live... but by that im not talking actual address!! Lol
