Met an attractive young guy (its only friendship obviously) went home added him. Guess who blatantly ignored me but became friends with some of the other people there?

Girl! You broke the rules. Rule number one is that we allow them to add us after casually mentioning that we have a social media account. In this manner, he's leading the chase, and setbacks like this are avoided; thus, the second rule is to make no contact. Allow him to initiate contact; if he doesn't, it's his loss.
