I just made a connection with a stranger and it felt so good

We played cards, talked about books, therapy, and our lives. He was so nice. My god, I’m so lonely and I forgot how good making a new connection feels

I'm not trying to be nosy but I do have a question. Was this like something like a blind date or just by happenstance? I ask because this sounds very delightful. You're lucky and I'm glad you had a good time. I think things like this are rare
