I used to. Not so much these days. I've realised I need my energy for myself and those closest to me who really matter.

@Strongtea i learned from experience, (only in recent years to be honest) many people only want you around while you fulfill a need within them. Especially online. You connect, chat, laugh, confinde, listen, then one day you vent to them....but, the'd rather laugh with a new friend than but effort into listening to your woes.
Whats really sad, is they often turn it on you saying you're no fun anymore, or yr too intense, too needy, whereas actually.... you havent changed in how you are with them....its their need of you you has changed.
I used to get hurt by it, but now Im able to accept its just how it is for many people.

@Strongtea im sure almost everyone goes through it at some point. You will just come to a point along the way where you realise its happening.. .like you already have, but it takes a fair while again to actually accept it and think to yrself ' ah.. feck this....im not going through it again' but it will happen one day.
I hope it happens sooner for you than it did me.
