Does it really matter if people online like you?

Think about it. It can be appreciated but do you actually need it? I think you need to like yourself offline and not care what people think of you in an anonymous site.

It is kind of a gray area. I mean when people interact, it IS a human behind that screen after all.
Sometimes your online chat buddies can bring a bit of happiness to your day.

I know I keep saying this but I do not think too many people have any issue with you.
I mean you are part of the SWEEP family like the rest of us. I mean yeah we have a few "creepy uncle" types and a few who ate too many paint chips in school but ya know, here we all are.

@HoochieTheClown thank you and I agree. It’s probably the differences between me and others here. If you don’t have much in common then it’s not a great foundation for friendship.
