How can it ever be worth it to live in a world where people would use your empathy towards them to destroy you
I mean, of course not all people are like that. But I always wanted to believe there are limits for evil and nobody's 100% evil

Do not expect the evil in the world to grow weaker Instead make the good in you stronger and stronger. There are no limit to evil. But there is definitely no limit to Goodness.
