What kind of behaviour attracts decent people?

When updating statuses...

I know sexual behaviour attracts losers
Depressing behaviour attracts predators and other depressed people
Bottom crawling behaviour attracts odd people who think it's directed at them and people who just want to take

I have noticed when i asked a question that required effort on their part that seemed to get some interesting replies.

Volunteer behavior for the betterment of your community attracts decent people. Join a community service org. Find one with a vision you like. Clean up litter, or help old folks at a senior center or join Habitat for Humanity or something like that. Maybe a church group.

The best way to meet decent people is by doing decent things.

Honestly I think it’s also about the overall types of posts people do. You get a sense of someone’s interests or level of crazy by reading what they post.
