I'm Looking For Genuine Connections With Kindhearted People

I wish I could meet someone I can trust and depend on. I was just reminded of it again. I met someone last week I thought maybe could go somewhere. He tells me he loves me and who I am as a person and wants to meet, etc. I never hear from him unless I text first and yesterday I text and he says I'm smothering him. Today I've heard nothing at all.

I give a lot of myself in relationships and potential relationships. If someone is interested why is it bad to want to check in and say hello... I'm thinking of you, etc?

Meaningful relationships (or even friendships) take time to establish. If online (and I'm thinking this is what your talking about) can take even longer. Without talking, seeing body language, etc your never really sure of what they say, they even mean. Who is to say he's not also talking with other women, playing the field a bit, maybe feeding his ego. If I were you, I'd say you've missed out on being played. Otherwise why would he talk about love so soon? I see a red flag straight away and I'd consider you lucky. Move on and leave him to whatever he's doing.
