Actually yes. I have made several good friendships both male and female on here over the years. I agree many are just passing fancies or a bit of fun but its nice when you have a genuine connection with someone. I have even met up with one lady friend and had a really nice time, we will never have an intimate relationship but I at least have a friend who understands me (because she is in a similar state)
