The Woman Who Owns The Weather

Gauteng today is like a bold, graceful woman commanding the room. In the morning, she steps out cinfident-the sunshine warming her skin, soft but strong, like a warm smile that says, "I've got this". As noon rolls in she shifts-the sky teases with playful clouds, hinting at something powerful just beneath the surface. Then the rain might come, full of purpose: cleansing, renewing and refreshing. It's as if she's telling you to let good of what's been holding you back, to shed and to grow. This weather is her story: warm beginnings, powerful middle and a clam poised finish. She's influential, not because she shouts, but because she is. To embrace her own storms, to own her calm and to know that anything is possible if you just believe.

I have to say that reading this could not have come at a more precise and perfect moment for me. Gauteng might be a place, but your description of her weather and your beautiful analogy of it to women is inspirational and aptly describes some women's story and the strength they carry within; an indomitable force that can't be reckoned with. Thank you very much for sharing this.
