There's not really fake people, just fake responses.
If you're looking for friends or paying attention, it's not hard to determine.
I mostly reply as a writing/mental exercise, I don't expect to make friends with anyone, I don't really have that kind of time. I don't enjoy conversing, but I do enjoy writing.
