If someone told you how they felt about you, after being friends for almost 2 years, would you say that that friend was fake the whole time?

@SW-User No. More like, when they had bad feelings about you that they held in, throughout the whole friendship until after the friendship was over. Then, they tell you how bad of a person they think you are. At the beginning of the friendship, the guy was telling me that I was his favorite.

Yep, I consider them BS fakers. They enjoy the attention you give them and being there for them, blah blah, but they mask it. Sometimes when someone wants out of something or to move on, they start finding fault with you to justify themeslves.
