When did you realize your friend wasn't a friend at all? [I Dont Need Fake Friends]

It was slow for me, I was dumb for a long while. It was only when I was feeling bad that I noticed how much they had been using me. Not a single one asked what was wrong, how I was feeling, or if they could help. The responses were, "Just suck it up" or "just come out with us". I started thinking back, I was essentially bait in a bar/club. I'm blonde, pretty enough by most standards, and I knew how to act social. They didn't care about me, only what I could offer. I quit them cold turkey, and lost all of my social connections, but at least I wasn't being used anymore.

In college I was used because I had a vehicle a lot. But they later apologized for that so it worked out okay. My ex though was a big user. I mean I miss the good parts but still wasn't a healthy match.
