I Preffer to Be a Friendless Loser Than Have Fake Friends

Why is there a quote that says People who betrayed you will regret it because they may need you later on in Life? I don't see any reason for them to come back to me. Ugh, they piss me off, just venting.

I will rather be a loser than to have fake Friends backstabbing me in my back.

@Endlesstime89 I was referring to their point of view not my own. And my remarks were about the old CPUSA; they'll have to start the revolution without me. My mother was a fanatic Stalinist CP member and I was raised as a Party outcast (not allowed to join because my dad got into some kind of trouble with them). I used to believe when I was growing up that they had my best interests at heart..
But I found out otherwise. Neither their personal behavior to me nor their political beliefs did much to make me a trusting person. (My Featured story has all the grim details).
