True connection does not occur through sound bites, 140-character rants, video clips only seconds long, or reposting/forwarding of terabytes of content which one did not, oneself, create.

It takes a real give-and-take of talking about something of interest to at least the one queried, and develops into a real, "organic"--I loathe the overuse of this word in such a context...lol--and natural evolution of the ideas as typically happens in a REAL, honest-to-God conversation...

If you have some of those, you begin to see some of the broad contours of another person's mind, spirit, emotions; their motivations, passions, drives; the things which push their buttons both in a good way & in a bad way.

The delving into each other is part of what conversation is, and where you are willing to take it defines the depth & importance of your friendship, relationship...connection.
@Lilymoon Why...*blush*...thank you for BC. 😊 (The SW abbreviation, not the Western Province of your Confederation.)
