Out of all the people who think they know who you are, how many of them actually do?

Some people know real bits and pieces of who I am. I don't believe anyone at all really knows me. There was one person once, who got close - too close - to the entirety of me, but.... Eh. Doesn't really matter anymore.

Maybe one. And not 100%.

Humans in large part live by projections, perceptions, assuming, and what they want , need or imagine us to be..

P.S. I will add.. I don't allow my entire (deeper) self to be known. I think most us don't. Maybe it's more of just a natural instinct. Parts of us, are ours alone.

@Magenta Agreed. Letting anyone know too much about us can be dangerous. Safety says, hold back the parts that are sensitive, personal, and easily destroyed. Too bad we forget that once in a while.
