Defining my approach (a revision made on May 25, 2025)
Regarding my approach on a historical plain, I commit to words these words as an ever evolving definition of what this approach is.
There ought to be a heavier attention to a grand chronology, for it with each preceding era that any specific era was working with. Smart people know their History, and those who don't make screwy history happenings. It is my belief that we are currently living in a screwy history happening.
However if I were to do this strictly in a chronological way, i'd have YEARS before I could feast on the material covering later generations, eras.
Therefore, my approach will periodically pay more attention to (for personal reasons) are of heightened interest.
History to be aligned more strongly with Politics, as the horrors of war sink in more, it is becoming more relatable what goes on in Politics, decisions that decide ripple effect the fates and living conditions of people, 99.99% of the time people who have hard lives, what to me seems hard, where there is a daily job, raising families, difficult family and work dynamics, and ever expanding relations normal usual people have that all give them a more well defined view on life and the world. That kind of awareness has not been mine to any notable degree, but on the strength of my Learning Process is beginning to .... sink in.
There are to be a wide variety enjoyed per wake period, but some themes or subjects may take most of the time, like up to 70% of the reading/listening wake period.
But when I initially exhaust my patience on a subject, or singular Literary figure, I will return to a
a) the strict chronology
b) another subject or Literary figure that I've recently expended funds, and enthusiasm over.
For the Use of Audible and normal reading
I am inside a double month effort, to get as high as I can for the rest of May, and then a June sprint to 300 hours. When I get to that mini milestone, I then use Audible minimally, and devote most of the rest of June with reading from Kindle and physical books, I hope I can get to 300 hrs before the middle part of June, then I would prove to myself that the Usual Monthly Method would be half for one and half for the other formats.
Cutting into the the audible challenge I in a spirit of fun put for me, shall and must supplement the learning with the lovely videos that can be found mainly on YouTube.
