I Fell In Love With My Best Friend
ok this is gonna be a long one, so please bare with me.
i mentioned before that im a loner by nature. for most of my childhood, i was that one, quiet girl who chose not to talk to anyone but instead wanted to read alot. eventually my family moved to another town and transferred me into that school district. i didnt really care, as long as the teachers let me read.
not even half way through the school year, another girl transferred in. for the sake of this story, lets call her mary. like me, she didnt really fit in, but for a different reason. she was extremely hyper, and dead honest to people, even at the expense of complimenting people. she admittedly annoyed me alot, mostly because she would ask so many questions about what books i were reading.
one day i brought my ds with me to school because the library was closed for a bit. the second mary saw my ds, she ran up to me with this massive smile on her face. as it turns out, she had one too, along with other consoles. it was about then that i started becoming friends with her. she was the first girl besides me into games, and it gave me someone to talk about games too.
about a year ago, i asked her who her crush was. she started to blush really hard, then told me that she was extremely nervous about telling me. i told her that i wont judge her for who she liked, and she said she liked me. i was initially shocked, but at the same time, it made me realized i liked her too. i told her this, and she said that as much as she would like to date me, she didnt want us to break apart because of it. i felt the same, so we didnt start dating
however, i really dont feel the same anymore. i want to ask her out, but im afraid she wont want to. im gonna ask tomorrow and hope for the best.
