I Lost My Best Friend

A fair bit of time has passed now but it still feels like I'm being ripped apart from the inside out. It still feels like the worst heart break I will ever experience. I feel her torn further and further away from me every single day as the time passes since we last spoke. I never thought that I would have to live without her, and I was utterly unprepared.
