Why is it...

Why is it that when you think you're good friends with certain people they tend not to think of you that way? and it ends up feeling left out?

We have no control over how people see us or think of us.

Then why even waste your time -to mull on this. Your happy state is how you are in you, how you live day to day.

People can be a mirror of our internal state - so ask your self, what is their about you that you are uncomfortable with?

Quote for you:
He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.”

What a good question! Honestly: I don´t know the answer.
But one reason might be because there are two different views of the word friend... :-(

@Loretta78: Yeah, you're probably right. They treat you all snuggly and close in front of you but do not really mean it. If there's one thing I don't like is hypocrisy. Just be truthful and honest in front of me without any pretensions. Then I might be able to give that person more respect that what I have for him/her right now.

@wave001211: Honesty is good. But I am afraid that sometimes I am TOO honest...

@Loretta78: That works for me. I'd rather have that than hear some back-biting behind me.
