Yeah my friend after 10 years said this to me while I was experiencing a schizophrenic episode

I've been waiting for you. Did your mulch go? Jw if you had to add like because I think I need to but I don't want to pay for a soil test

It's not compost yet. I think it might be time to turn the first the first pole and add some blood/bone Neal for a nitrogen boost but so far nothing seems to be happening. However I see some vines growing out of the pile so maybe I could just plant in the compost pile 😂

Lmao! Well you could till it into your garden since its early spring. I have the opposite issue here because the soils pretty acidic by default so idfk, it's a lot of work to mess up on lol

That would be. I might turn some of my worms loose on the pile to see if they can do some damage to bring the bulk of the pile down. A family friend told me abour some one she knew who did just that.
Did a soil test cost a lot to do? I'd like to get one. I haven't checked the cost and I lost a raspberry start this year already.

There are some you can do yourself thst costs like five bucks or you can send a sample into a lab which must be pricey. Did you use leaves for your brown and did you cut them up @crabbyhermit:

I did buy a ph soil meter have yet to open the box. My pile has a lot rotting pine and pine needles because that's what's readily available at my home. There also oak leaves. Another pile is all oak leaves and other random sticks imported from a landscaping job I had. I haven't taken the time to crumble anything. I figure my pitchfork will help to crumble it all. I recently got a non working mulched that when I get fixed will have a lot of work to do.

Sounds like it might be really acidic? I have that issue anyway so I need to get some lime@crabbyhermit:

Acidicity prevents compost from happening or you think the soil acidity killed the raspberry?
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Idk if it would kill it, like raspberries grow in the acidic soil here. It would maybe stunt their growth I think@crabbyhermit:
