Of course you're going to feel hurt if you were close, but sometimes people grow apart. Time to move on.

Hurt, but many others will come along and fill the void. If their worth it, they'll stick with you regardless. Otherwise, pffft

I felt abandoned and discarded. But the person had to move on.

I didn't care after the first 2 or 3 seconds. The world is still going to turn. Friendship is trivial. People are on earth for one person and that's themselves. Screw friendship.
