Sometimes Charm Can Be Mistaken for Flirting

In my opinion it is not the same thing. Charm is just a manner of being able to make new friends and acquaintances by immediately making that person laugh, thus breaking the ice to facilitate easier conversation.

Flirting is all about "I wana get in your pants girl!"

Playfulness/friendliness can also be mistaken for flirting.
One has to just first know the personality of a person before they are being accused of flirting.

Some can be mistaken sadly. Most think I'm trying to flirt when I'm being polite.
There is a big difference between the two though.
