Do you find people greeting you by name but then you think "Who on earth is that?"

This happens to me so often that when I walk in public with my kids and they see someone greet me, they would stare at me all the time to watch my reaction, checking for signs of recognition...

Then when the person is far away enough, they would ask me "Who is that?". I would look at them and be like "I have no idea" and they would end up having quite a laugh 馃ぃ

I look out of ordinary, with no resemblance to any so they don't bothered looking at me.

@YOLO1: One time I was walking in a particularly dangerous area (years ago before I had my car) and I took a turn and saw a few dangerous looking guys in the back of a pick up truck... they looked like gangsters and it was too late to turn and go the other way as they already saw me...

I then showed no sign fear and continued walking when 3 of them jumped off and approached me...I thought I was gonna get mugged, but kept a straight face.

Then one of them says with a huge smile on his face "Hey my bru, howsit going" and he takes me hand... inside I'm like "Phew" and pretend that I know the guys all my life (all 3 of them somehow knew me) lol
