How do you go about meeting people and making new friends?

I'm sure a nice amount of users on SW are here because we DON'T go out to meet new people and make friends. Sad thing is, I have trouble making friends on here as well.

I agree COMPLETELY with you. It's very difficult to find true friends here. :-(

@AliceSalomon: Part of the problem I have is that I do not put myself out there enough. How about you?

@MistahJ: I go out of myself enough. But I guess I am getting too much in selection by looking for true friends. There has to be "the same chemistry" between us.
Until now I've found just one good friend like that. We know each other since almost 2 years. And although I wish to have still one or two friends more I prefer to wait until the "right ones" are coming. Quality about quantity! :-)
