Do you trust members of SimilarWorlds who don’t have any friends, hide their friends, or no post but still send you messages or talk to you in private

I understand why people hide their friends lists—it’s often to protect those friends. But I generally don’t get into sharing private messages unless we’ve previously interacted on the Q&A. In fact, private messages don’t come to my main mailbox unless I’ve already friended the person.
