It's Just Nice To Spend Time Together

Sometimes it's just easy to undervalue people. Friends. They'll always be there, right? Well, maybe....

So, we're at work today....between clients....and I'm sitting around and with Candy, Angela, Jasmin, Helena and Liv....and we're just chatting away, y'know? Smoking, having a glass of wine or a coffee or a quick snack...nothing too deep and meaningful.

Actually, just silly stuff. We're all smiles, laughter and happy.

Just wanted to say that thought came to me. We may not always be around each other for ever. I took the opportunity to just really be more attentive.

I love them all.

No competition or quarterly performance reviews I trust, plus you watch out for each other and all have the same fears, health issues, and experience the same risks and challenges. Similar family issues and backgrounds perhaps. Problems with addictions and recovery. It's kind of a unique situation. Not unlike an army unit except you can probably drink on the job.

@Tastyfrzz Well, no. We do that - probably - in little groups, but not all together (with the exception of Wendy, who's just a part-time worker), but just good to be light hearted, taking the Michael (as we say) out of each other and just nice, y'know?

No competitive stuff. Certainly not from me. Candy is top dog, I'm second. That's fine with both of us.
