I don't understand men tbh

Why would a guy tell a girl he won't call her anymore but still calls her???
We're not romantically involved. We tried once it didnt work out so we kind of remained internet buddies. We don't ever talk about that we just simply moved on.

Recently some things happened and he got mad and said he won't call me anymore but he still called me after and I'm confused as to why.

@beermeplease Not exactly We lived in the same neighborhood went to the same school but never spoke a word to each other. He added me on social media that's how we started talking to each other. He lives in another country now so we haven't seen each other in person since we started talking.
