Honestly, I have friends in RL and have a solid group of them, chances are I'll never meet anyone on SW.

Why am I on here then? To talk about topics that might not go down with mates and to look at opinions of various people.

If SW did a social though it would be a bloody good fun event! 😂

I'll take a friend wherever I find them. You see, I have problems making friends anywhere, period! I get online and hope that someone, anyone finds me interesting enough to converse with.

I've always maintained that SW is where my imaginary friends and acquaintances are

IRL I have a group of friends I meet and hangout with often, a group of friends I see once in a great while, and a group of friends I've known the longest that I get together with a few times a year (unfortunately, some of them are getting older and some have passed).

I don't know. I find even the question is a bit uneasy to answer. I've been burned pretty badly in the past. Yes, fell in love online but heck that happens in real life too. I don't come on here to find something similar. In my head I go 'can we be friends?' sometimes but I don't use SW for meeting anyone special. In fact, I've been blocked often enough because some on here can't even handle someone with a different opinion. Would anyone want to date someone who blocks on a regular basis anyhow? That's a quite neater question to ask

I'm pretty much of a hermit. And at my age the friends I did have are mostly dead.

I’ve got a great group of friends in RL and here on SW as well.

Have not yet met friends on SW, but have read so many interesting reports of their escapades. Have a small circle of RL friends and don't believe they are here. Came to try out the site and maybe try to write and see about others writing and thoughts.

I tend to have RL friends for different activities. A poker group, volleyball group, old school friends, married couple friends, etc…

This is just a time filler. Nice to talk to some folks, but agree, every now and then the alarms go off.

I have a lot of solid friends in RL.

I like communication online, but much prefer face to face. I mostly come here to see how a couple people are doing, and then see what’s going on in random people’s lives and try to help if I can.

Just a handful of very close friends that I have made over the years. I am more of a loner but with very close bonds with my loved ones. I include a handful of friends as loved ones.

Here, I have 3-4 good friends on SW and in real life, maybe 3-4 besties to count on, another 3-4 to call friends and then, alot of people who have neutral status in my life, can't call them friends.

I have 1 friend I have known for 30+ years, a couple I have known for 15+ years and a hanful of peers/acquaintances

i have few acquaintances but no real friends now, i'm not on sw to make friends really, only as it says in my profile, advice help etc.

With all the caprice on this site I don't think it's a good idea to form solid bonds

I definitely have a nice group of online friends. We don't live close enough to hangout though.
