My coworker and I got into an argument and he told me I have no common sense.

I told him I often have trouble understanding him because of his choice of words. He'll say things like one time when a customer was driving in, he said, "Oh no, that's her!" I asked who. He pointed and said, "Her." I asked again, That's who? He AGAIN pointed and said, "Her, in the car, right there." Eventually I understood that he just meant, 'There's a customer.'

But seriously? Who says, "That's her?" It sounded like he was saying it's someone specific like his wife or his daughter. That's what "that's her" means to me.

So we argued about it and he told me I have no common sense and I make assumptions. 😂

I can't think of anyone else who would say "That's her" in that particular case. What do you think?

Is there a customer list where you see who is due in next for appointment?

Then I could see saying “oh that’s her”

We did that at salon I worked in forever ago, especially with regulars.
@WaryWitchWandering That's what I was wondering, too.

@SinlessOnslaught is he able to view appointments/schedule for the day?
@WaryWitchWandering Now, yes, but at that time, no.

@SinlessOnslaught I think he recognized her as a regular and he was saying “oh boy here she comes”… but it didn’t hit you properly bc you didn’t know “her”
@WaryWitchWandering But that's what I was asking him and he didn't say that.

@SinlessOnslaught hmmm 🤔
@WaryWitchWandering Like I said, I think he just chooses weird words. English isn't his first language.
@WaryWitchWandering I'm also just wondering if I'm the only person who thinks he chooses weird words, whatever the reason.
@WaryWitchWandering I'm asking for your opinion 😆
