Would you be friends with someone who is politically connected?

Say either that user is in politics or has deep roots in politics as his/her family background.

Do you foresee taking the friendship one step ahead knowing he/she appears in the national media and it can get very chaotic sometimes?

or do you think it's a good idea the user never ever discloses this part? And just better to live an anonymous life here?

@SW-User I think so. No need to frown though. I just meant that I have a small circle of friends and if I cut someone out because of some disagreement over politics it would make a fairly big impact. But I'm happy to not have a really big circle of friends because I'm a bit lazy and I would end up not paying all of them enough attention!
