Is it me?

I just can't seem to make friends in college. College is almost over but I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or making people, not like me. I don't talk to people or make my presence know so I don't know what to do. But at this point, I don't think I should try now.

It's okay, I didn't make friends in college either and my major was 6-years-long. But I think a lot depends on the mindset, because I failed to make friends among people whom I've been seeing 5 times a week for 6 years and I made friends in my IT school I attended during my last 2 years of college, on the weekends only... so we clicked despite of having much less time to do so.

Oh okay. This is my freshman year, I thought I would make at least one friend, but then again I have late classes so it's more of a mixture of people my age and adults. I'll just make new friends next year.

I have the same issue. Are you shy or something? My only problem is the age barrier...My college mostly has adults and I prefer hanging and being friends with people my age honestly.

I'm not really shy just mostly quiet and I do prefer to make friends with people in my age group. I wouldn't be able to share any experience with the adults there.

It's worth the effort, but friendship takes time too, to develop. Be patient, but def try!
