How do you make a close friend as an adult?

people when they get older become more self centered. its harder making real friends as an adult they usually revolve around work or bars and what ever you are into. relationships are shallow now a days. people come and go and dont want commitment or stay connected to people.

People want to stick to their routine once they get older. I mean most people have a circle of friends and don't have room for new friends. Sadly, the ones which don't have any to begin with falls through the crack.
