When's the last time you made a new friend?

It's hard to me.
I see other people bond so easily though.

Years ago, I was sitting in the waiting room at the dentist office. Two women were looking at magazines and then starting chatting. The conversation quickly changed to couponing. One knew how and one wanted to learn, they got all excited and exchanged phone numbers and I was sitting there thinking, how come I can't make fast friends like that? 🙄🤔😬😐

The easiest friends to make are those people don't the same things you're doing, interests in common..

@ozgirl512 certainly. I was doing ok on trying to make fiends and then covid hit
ozgirl512 · 31-35, F
@iamnikki it will pass and there will be a lot of people wanting to make connections ..

@ozgirl512 very true. I have a goal planner that I recently bought. To help me stay on track as I am someone who needs to write things out to stay on track.
Making friends is a goal.
I want to have activities that I do regularly on a weekly basis. When covid is over, I will get started.
I hate the virtual stuff

@iamnikki just a personal thought... You don't make friends, they occur naturally... So just do the things you enjoy, it'll happen

@ozgirl512 that's true too. I just hate having to do everything alone. Most other people are at an event or activity they like , already WITH someone else. So even me going places I like and doing what I like, in my experience, still didn't bring me any friends

@iamnikki maybe you're not picking up on some clues?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@ozgirl512 what do you mean
ozgirl512 · 31-35, F
@iamnikki just suggesting that maybe people are shy and their approach is too subtle...
