Would you tell your friend if you thought (s)he was making the same mistake in his or her quest for love?

(e.g. "You seem to be constantly seeking to fill a void due to your loneliness and it's possible that may have something to do with you attracting the same type of person willing to take advantage of you.")

I would probably do that, but only once then mind my own business. They will hear it when they are ready not because I shove it down their throat.
