What is your opinion of a woman who doesn't have many female friends?

@Madhatter Well I can say I don't hate women, never have, see no reason to.
In my view, a circle of compatible women friends is a must for a happy life.

@hartfire Oh, I've known a lot of women who have a circle of female friends, but I've never known one who didn't talk poorly about them behind their back. If you're the one that doesn't, good on you. World needs more like you.

@Madhatter Why on earth would I want to speak ill of my friends (or anyone) behind their backs?
If I have an issue with a friend, I speak with her directly, and I expect her to do the same.
Part of a good friendship is the ability to be open and honest, and through it to come to know, understand and love each other more.
And since writing and poetry tend to be intimate and revealing of the writer's inner self - these things come up quite often.
