And they just didn't seem interested? It's life, right? You can't get everyone to like you, know what I mean?

I wouldn't call it befriending because friendship comes into existence only after some time. I'd call it initiating a conversation or expressing one's interest in another person. I only remember doing it a few times in my life. It's so funny when I think about it because I'm sure it's very apparent I expect rejection in advance.
