Should I be friends with this person?

So there's this guy who's super Hindu I met at work. He's friendly but there's something I feel weird about him. He's really Hindu. He extremely hates Muslims and scoffs at Christians. I had another Hindu friend who converted to Muslim and this dude keeps telling my friend is mad to be muslim and constantly asks me what made my Hindu ancestors to accept Christianity and drops his remarks that he finds it funny Hindu converting to another religion but at the same time, gloats over white people choosing Hinduism. Would you be friends with him?

Ah a typical Indian guy singing praises of his religion and meanwhile not following what his religion's basic ideology 馃槄 tell him your ancestors converted cause morons didn't let them inside their place of worship 馃檮 caste system was and still is the primary reason why so many Hindus choose to convert. I can't take such person seriously everything

@Thanos Frankly I don't know why my ancestors chose Christianity. I checked my family tree and they were rich and either high casted Brahmins or Nairs. So I understand poverty nor caste discrimination was not the reason for conversion. Maybe they actually liked the religion. There are even other Hindus with my family name around. It's a mystery actually

@JBird it doesn't really matter it's their choice they're allowed to worship whoever they want it's nobody's business. Back when I was a believer I considered converting to Christianity too cause their community was strong they help those in need. This church I used to visit helped my family many times and I wasn't even one of them details are personal to share publicly but none of the temples I visited when these temples are rich af 馃檮
