Have you ever met anyone called "Porsche" and do you think the name suited them ?

A couple days ago I met a Zulu African woman called Porsche. That was quite surprising because it is generally not a name used by any cultures in my country.

That's Ellen Degeneres's girlfriends name. She does a talk show over here in case you've never heard of her before. Other than that I've never heard of anyone with that name. It's weird to me!🤭

@Peaches I do know Ellen. I can't say I have ever found her to be interesting but she has my respect for openly being herself.

I met one woman with that name. I'm not sure if it was her given name or one she "adopted". Either way she thought a lot more highly of herself than most who took the time to get to know her.

I've known a Portia (porsche) AND a Mercedes.

I guess their names worked

@xixgun Mercedes ? That's also a bit weird. Interestingly I just found out that although Porsche is of German origin, Mercedes is of Latin origin.
