I have a friend who has a son that needs to be assessed for his needs, her son is clearly struggling and probably has ASD or is somewhere on the spectrum. She can see his issues but tries to say it's normal, when it's not..
So yeah, it bugs me that her kid is 10 and struggling and she's not done anything to help him.
I tried to get my point across as I have a son with ASD but she won't hear it or believe it or see it. AND the school has addressed issues, but she just shuts down and thinks they're being interfering
Her son is 10 and he dry retches at the thought of going to a friends house or a party or somewhere he's never been before.. That just isn't normal for a 10 year old IMHO
