What do you do when you find out that an awesome person in your life has a really stupid or detrimental belief?

Had a conversation with my little brother and just found out his thoughts about a subject regarding my demographic which I find very insulting and sad. Have you had a similar experience with a friend or family member?

Yes. It was very upsetting, but I had to let it go. No good comes of it. You just have to realize you disagree, and get past it, if you want to maintain the relationship.
