Is it odd that just because the sex stops the friendship doesn't end?

I am still on relatively good terms with an Ex we still talk to each other about once a month.

This happens to lots of people. It's not odd at all.

Not only did I stay on good terms with one ex, but she and my wife became really good friends as well.
