Why is it that guys tend to open up to girls more than to their own gender?

To give it context, I'm not saying it's the same for every male. Just that I have some guy friends and I encourage them to go out and talk to people when they have problems or issues. I don't know if they do but I think one of the first people they decide to call or ask out is me.

Some of them likes me I think. Yet only one got the chance to admit it. Problem is, I want a partner and not someone to fix.

Guys tend to want to fix things for themselves and if you give them enough time and space and encouragement they will usually be able to do that ,but there are sometimes they will reach out and it is usually either to another guy they trust and have known for a very long time or it is someone they are interested in romantically.
Usually, they are not going to spill their guts to their women friends, it's just the way many are .
I know that's not a popular thing to say, but it's what I found to be true and so instead of trying to talk them into something,I just let them be what they are.

@SW-User I don't know what it is about me. But people of all sorts like to open up to me. Sometimes it's weird but I started to think it's a gift I can easily earn their trust without even trying.

Sometimes though, I want to be with someone as strong as me, if not stronger. Sometimes, you just want someone who doesn't appear weak to you.
